Collaborative tools
Our speciality is building collborative tools for small to medium-size businesses and non-profits.
Collaborative tools link up people who are separated in time and space to help them accomplish some goal. These may be business, regulatory, or social goals.
< p> Our collaborative tools stitch together content management systems, membership databases, document repositories work-flows, blogs, event registration modules, ecommerce platforms, instant messaging gateways, payment processing, and integrated iPhone apps, among a variety of other elements. Together they realize your objectives. We exclusively deal in unusually-shaped problems. If you just want a hosted Drupal deployment with some minor things changed, we are not the right people for you.

Database design
We can use PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Sybase, for both transactions and data warehousing. We're familiar with object databases, distributed hash table stores, and have contributed code to the PostgreSQL project.
Implementation
We work with, and implement cusotmizations to, a broad range of platforms, raging from bare-knuckle PHP to Ruby on Rails, Asterisk-driven VoiceXML gateways, and the iPhone. Implementation happens in whatever language suits the problem best - PHP, Ruby, Python, Erlang, Perl, Tcl, C, C++, Java, and Objective C.
Integration
We have lots of expertise with third-party system integration, including payment gateways like PayPal or Moneris. If you need to invent a protocol, we can tell you what to do and what not to.
Hosting
To top it all off, we run our own high-capacity hosting environment, colocated at Peer1's amazing data center at 151 Front in Toronto.
